Can anyone explain this light? I’ve never seen it before. A marker for nighttime boat traffic? Puzzling.

Tree Falls In Inwood

The paths lay buried beneath heaps of snow and giant fallen trees in Inwood Hill Park this past weekend. It was a hazardous spectacle that altered the entire landscape radically.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in about the fellow who is creating these circles. He is still hard at work despite the chill weather. They are quite cool to discover and they are springing up in some unlikely places. I lve how people avoid walking through them… At least at first.
